A yearlong university assessment that asked us to design something that we're passionate about. I created a book called "From Migrant to Local", which is a guide book that contains a photo series of various locations that I has visited throughout my time since migrating to Sydney. Aimed at migrants and or travellers, the books purpose is to guide the intended audience to visit, enjoy and experience all of the locations which have helped shape myself towards becoming the Sydney local that I am today. Building a sense of connection and understanding through my perspectives, thoughts, feelings and or experiences will hopefully encourage the intended audience to start creating their own memories. And eventually helping them transition towards becoming a Sydney local themselves.
A Nikon D750 camera was used to complete the photography section of the work. As well as post production editing on a photography software known as Adobe Lightroom. Adobe Indesign was also utilised in order to design the final layout of the publication.
