A university assessment that asked us to redesign an existing piece of work that we've completed within our time studying design at university. I chose to redesign an old photomedia assessment where I wasn't happy with the editing of the photos and the overall outcome of the magazine layout. Therefore, in my redesign I decide to re-edit the images to project a more cohesive look and for the layout I wanted it to be simple where I utilised design techniques such as symmetry, negative space and minimal use of colour and typography. The magazine centres around the idea that historical, modernised and influenced beauty all harmoniously play a role into making a city great.
A Nikon D750 camera was used to complete the photography section of the work. As well as post production editing on a photography software known as Adobe Lightroom. Adobe Indesign was also utilised in order to design the final layout of the publication.
